About Palmki
Palmki is an innovative hand palm identity platform that enables users to identify themselves in a fast, secure and user-friendly way. The technology is used for access control, payments, loyalty programs and process automation.
Our vision is that the hand palm will grow into a universal identity token in the future that can replace badges, tickets, membership cards, loyalty cards and in certain applications even payment cards.
To further accelerate our growth, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who helps develop new markets and converts commercial opportunities into concrete projects.
Job description
The role focuses mainly on developing new business opportunities and realising sales in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The candidate does not need to be a technical specialist. Technical analyses, integrations and complex security projects are supported by our internal experts. We are mainly looking for a commercial professional who can open doors, build relationships and convince customers of the added value of our solutions.

Profile
- Proven experience in B2B solution sales
- Strong commercial skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience with consultative selling
- Able to detect opportunities and build relationships with decision-makers at management level
- Results-oriented and independent
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Knowledge of French is a significant advantage
Nice to have
Experience in one or more of the following domains is a significant advantage:
- Access control and security solutions
- Building technology and smart buildings
- Facility management
- Real estate and project development
- Sales via partner and integrator networks
Knowledge of biometrics is not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Active prospecting and business development
- Building relationships with end customers and partners
- Managing the commercial pipeline
- Identifying pilot projects and reference customers
- Supporting the development of the Palmki partner network
- Collaborating with internal technical teams to convert opportunities into concrete projects
- Representing Palmki at trade fairs, events and networking events
Success criteria
- Number of commercial opportunities created
- Number of pilot projects launched
- Revenue generated
- Number of new customers and partners
- Conversion of opportunities into recurring business
